Annelies Stolp graduated in 1987 in Biology from the Free University in Amsterdam with the specializations Ecology and Biology&Society. She has worked for 20 years with the Ministry of Transport, Public Works and Water Management. She was the initiator of the CVA Development Project and completed a thesis on this subject in 2006.
She has been involved in various projects and policy studies in:
-dike reinforcement
-water infrastructure development
-highway and railway development
-risk perception of flooding
-biotechnology and agriculture
She is skilled in Citizen Values Assessment, Environmental Impact Assessment, Stakeholder Analysis, participatory approaches and public involvement processes.
